BSB on Undateable

Happy Hump Day! Hope everyone is having a good week. Did everyone catch our guys on Undateable last week? They were awesome! Why can't all the shows I like be incorporated with BSB? And a proposal with BSB?! Talk about perfect lol. It was so funny and everyone was all over Kevin. They picked on Nick with the "dangerous one" comment haha! I really enjoyed the reenactment of Show Me The Meaning too. I kept waiting for BSB to have a part in the stripping scenes, but no luck lol. They sounded great as always! I love how the boys can poke fun at themselves...they were in Detroit for a fundraiser for themselves lol.

Seriously though, how much would it cost for BSB to sing during a proposal???
We know another cruise theme....In A World Like This, where you represent where you come from, whether it be country or state. I would definitely have to represent Chicago if I were going, but I still haven't given up on the idea of doing the themes at home.

I'm a loyal Cubs fan just because my grandma loved Harry Caray and the Cubs. Truthfully, don't follow sports that much lol.
What else is new? Nick is being sued by the bouncer from the bar in Florida. He looks like a pip squeak and is just suing to get some easy money. Pssh. Bye Felicia lol.

Hope Nick had a great 36th birthday and is enjoying his babymoon with Lauren.
Cute!
Nick has been doing some tweeting sprees here and there and the last one I was lucky enough to get a tweet! When he does this, it radiates my day :D
Thank you, Nick :)

As far as I go, I'm enjoying storytime with the kids at work and was ecstatic when one of my cutie pies put me down as something she loves at the library!
Aww! :)
I'm enjoying spending my weekends with my boyfriend and things are going really well. Life is pretty damn good right now, with the exception of some back problems I've been having recently. It had to be my back because I'm a Backstreet Girl lol. Sorry for the lame joke and have a good rest of your week!

Lots Of Updates

First off, I apologize for taking this long to write a blog post. It's embarrassing that the last time I wrote one was in October. Eeek! Life has just been moving along so quickly and I've been making it a point to get out there and live life instead of being by a computer screen or TV screen. Don't get me wrong though, I have been keeping up with all things Backstreet, just not blogging about them...until now.

By now, we all know Nick came in second place for Dancing with the Stars. I had a feeling that would happen and I do support Bindi Irwin and think she deserved to win. Nick deserved to win first place as well, but there is only one spot for that. I'm proud he came in second! That night, I skipped my gym time to make sure I could watch it live and ordered a pizza. That's the way to do it lol. My facial expressions when Nick didn't win first place...

No!!!!!!!!

I'm sad...and being just a tad silly.
I won't individually go through each performance to save time and not bore you with my thoughts, but I liked the Larger than Life performance and it was great to see all the guys supporting our boy. I was really proud of Nick to get over some of his insecurities and I still can't believe that a guy that talented and handsome can be insecure, but I guess we all have our insecurities. I also enjoyed the Halloween group dance. I'm planning on putting a DVD together of all his dance performances when I have time.

I love this pic! Can I be Sharna?
Great teamwork!
We also can't forget the baby announcement! Congratulations to Nick and Lauren! I'm wondering what type of boy names are they thinking of and I'm hoping they don't pick mine lol. So excited to see Daddy Nick because I know he'll be a good dad.

It's a Boy!
In other Backstreet news, I'll be attending Nick's solo concert at the House of Blues in Chicago! I was thinking of attending some others, but I have a conference to attend the day before for work and I'm not sure if traveling to another state would work out. It'll be a blast to hear Nick's new album sung live and get to see him during VIP.

Staying on the subject of Nick, I'm sure most of you heard Nick was arrested recently. Of course the media made a big thing out of nothing and I wish they would have put as much press on the good things he has accomplished than this, but that's how it goes. I have my own thoughts on this, but don't want to get too much into it. I'll just say that I'll always support Nick and that I hope it was a matter of just having a little too much fun versus something that may be bothering him causing him to drink more.

Nick looks sober and good here in this mug shot.

He looks pissed here lol.
Moving on...two out of the four cruise themes have been announced! I'm really sad that I'm not going this year and truthfully, that is probably why I haven't been blogging because it sucks so much not being able to go. I'm very happy for my friends who are going and can't wait to hear about it!

The first theme announced was "A Night at the Cinema" where cruise goers dress up as their favorite movie character. My favorite movie character would probably be Vivian from Pretty Woman, but I don't think I could pull off the hooker look even though I did like her blue mini skirt and the white top lol. Maybe I could go as her when she classes it up, finding a tan and white pokadot dress that she wears at the polo game.

Fun!
I always liked this look lol.

I would be able to pull this look off better.

Did I mention I plan to do all the themes at home with a few friends? lol I'm not quite sure on the idea just because it might make me even more sad, but we'll see.

The second theme that was announced today is Casino Royale. I'm not sure how I would go about this theme. I guess wear something classy. Here's a link to a fun video of AJ advertising the theme.

"Boys...Backstreet Boys." *swoon* lol

Everyone excited to find out who won the Dubsmash video contest to get to do a video with BSB? I am! That would be so fun!

Also, don't forget BSB will be making an appearance on NBC's Undateable this Friday the 29th. I will be watching.

Some big news. Kevin addressed a fan's tweet about if BSB will be touring this summer. Drum roll...Kevin said unlikely with them still working on the album and promotion. A lot of fans are happy just so it gives them time to save more money for future BSB adventures. I'm okay with it too because they should take the time they need to produce an awesome album and seeing Nick in March will calm me over lol.

AJ is excited about the new album and so am I! I spy Kevin in the background.

As far as I go, things have been going well. Just busy with work and finally found a worthwhile man :). We have been in a relationship since late November and things have been going well and I hope they continue to do so. I now realize how much crap I was putting up with in the past and I won't go back to that or put up with anything like that again. He's a complete upgrade in every way! I'm hoping I'm making him as happy as he is making me. Now, I just have to work on my insecurities.

I've also been continuing with my workout goals. Right now, I go to the gym 5 days a week and do 1 hour of brisk cardio on the elliptical. Then I usually treat myself to the sauna. When I feel extra pumped, I do some time on the treadmill too. I added the stair climber, but that was just too much after the elliptical so instead I'm going to start doing some toning exercises at home.

Gym selfie.
New Year, new me. I had to redeem myself from those above pictures lol.
Wishing everyone a wonderful 2016 filled with BSB memories! Have a Happy Nick's Birthday next Thursday and thanks for reading!

Nick Channeling His Inner Travolta with the Samba!

I was beyond excited for this performance and couldn't wait to see Nick get his inner Tony Manero on with Saturday Night Fever!!!!! (I was working out all week to Bee Gees music to send Nick positive vibes.) I must admit that I've watched this performance so many times and absolutely fangirled over the opening scene of Nick walking down the street to the tune of the Bee Gees! God, was that sexy as hell lol! Nick does well as an Italian haha! I'm Italian so I approve lol. And that sexy walk...I'm done *thud.*

He owned the whole performance and it was great to see him with so much confidence! It was so much fun to watch so I can only imagine how it felt to be him and "groove to the music" ;) Much respect to the 70's for all the pelvic thrusts and booty shaking lol. And that knees move...geez, I couldn't even attempt that. I don't think I have that much muscle strength to pull myself back up.

Nick is always a leader.

I loved how this performance mostly showcased Nick's dancing abilities. Definitely should have gotten all tens, but I guess someone has a stick up their butt *cough* Carrie Ann. Regardless, Nick should be safe. I know I voted and even tried to vote via phone and it was busy. Our boy is doing so good!

Fierce baby, fierce!

The Dirty Dancing performance was my second favorite with Bindy. The "pony" dance performance was kind of corny, so I'm still glad Nick didn't end up with that one. In my opinion, with that dance you go all the way or don't bother and it being ABC and PG, that wasn't going to happen lol. I had to laugh at the gyrating on the chair part of the dance.

So there's a Dancing With the Stars tour. It's not coming to Chicago, but if Nick will be part of it, I'm going to see if I can make it to the Indiana one. We'll see what ends up happening with that.

It's almost Friday! I have to work and then I'll be attending a Haunted Chicago event where they speak on some haunted places in the Chicago area. Should be interesting. As much as a scaredy cat I can be, I'm still fascinated with the paranormal. It'll be something fun to do for Halloween.

Saturday there will be some cute animals at another local library near me and I love animals so I plan on doing that Saturday along with visiting the gym since I'm probably not able to go to the gym today because of an appointment.

Speaking of the gym, I finally tried a class since the classes are free with the membership. It was alright and the instructor was very friendly and nice. He had to assist me with setting up my bike and when he asked me if I've done this before, I asked him if it looked like I did and we both laughed because I looked clueless lol. My feet were killing me at the end of the workout and I felt like it was more of a workout for gaining muscle and I'm more interested in burning fat, but it was a nice experience. I think I'll stick to my usual elliptical routine. Besides, I always enjoy listening to my music while working out.

Because of karaoke, I downloaded some more 90's music on my ipod. Rocking out to Limp Bizkit and Buckcherry. I always feel like singing out loud the dirtiest parts of the song but because people would get the wrong idea, I end up going really fast on the elliptical so it works for me lol.

I'll end my post with BSB. That was special that all of the guys were able to get together in New York for that fashion show event. They all looked great and did an awesome job with their performance! All what I can say is come back to Chicago so I can be more of a part of Backstreet history. Wasn't the last fashion show performance they did with Jenny McCarthy for Old Navy? That was a good event too and I love Jenny McCarthy so it was fun to see her flirt with the boys with that personality of hers.

All the guys together performing *fuzzies*

Okay, all the guys look sexy as hell but Nick's look says 'f#@k me.'

Nick Dances the Paso Doble

I've been trying to catch up with my DWTS blog posts, but life gets in the way. At least I can still see the show after I get home from work.

Nick danced the paso doble and he did a wonderful job! I enjoyed the costumes, the song, and most of all Nick's passion. One judge said he was "overdoing" it but I love Nick's passion and found that to be my favorite aspect of the performance and it came across very sexy! Did anyone else feel like saying, "take me and ravish me!" after seeing Nick's stance? lol Ok. Just me then.

Nick in black leather...yum.

There's no secret that Nick and Sharna have better chemistry than him and Witney did, but I think that has to do with everyone staying committed to their original pairings. Everyone did a great job, but I am glad Nick is back with Sharna.

I read an article that Maks had dated Willa Ford. I didn't know about that and I completely forgot that she was on the show herself. I know I would never downgrade from Nick to Maks lol. I also know if I ever had Nick I would hold onto him tight because it's hard to find a decent, kind man...nevertheless one that is absolutely handsome to boot. No man is perfect, but Nick is pretty damn close lol.

Anyway, Maks has always struck me as a pompous, conceited person but I never met him so of course i don't know that for sure.  With that being said, I think he wasn't sabotaging Nick with one point lower than the rest of the judges but if he was, that won't stop Nick anyway.

To be honest, I'm not really into the show unless Nick is on there. I tried to watch Dancing when Aaron was on there, but couldn't watch the whole season. I like "So You Think You Can Dance" better because they use more current music and pop moves. DWTS made a good choice asking Nick to be on the show because if he wasn't, I wouldn't be watching.

I'm am excited to see what dance Nick does next on Monday. It supposed to be famous movie dance scenes, so I'm hoping he'll get Dirty Dancing, Grease, or Saturday Night Fever. All of that would be fun to see. And omg, just did a quick update and found out Nick will be dancing to the Saturday Night Fever scene! YES! This will be hot...and will take me back to 70's night on the cruise! On the cruise, I noticed Nick danced really well to 70's music...dare I say even better than current music so I'm really excited for this one! I also remember the bubbles lol.

I am overly excited about Nick doing this scene!
A couple will be dancing to "Pony" from Magic Mike lol. I'm so glad Nick didn't get that one. Don't get me wrong, that's always sexy but I want to see something new since that was done during Nick and Knight and a couple of promotional things I seen him at in Chicago.

Something exciting happened! Nick favorited one of my tweets. Totally made my day and I definitely fangirled lol. It's just reassurance that he seen my tweet and I've been going through a tough breakup, so it was nice to have his support in such a way. He really is my angel from afar. Thank you, Nick!
Thank you, Nick :)
Can't wait for the weekend! Doing karaoke for a third time and yes, I'm starting to be known as the Backstreet Boys girl because I sing a BSB song everytime lol.

Nick Dancing Jazz to Backstreet's Back

Hi all. Still disappointed summer is over, but I'm already starting to do some fall activities, including getting out my winter clothes. Last weekend, I went to a bonfire with friends at an apple orchard. It was such a beautiful orchard with tons of activities. Next time, I'll be sure to visit inside the shops. We were able to go through the largest corn maze and enjoy some Mikes Hard Lemonade by the bonfire. I love the smell of burning wood! All what we needed was some country music. The night sky was beautiful, but it was so cold. I was wrapped in my fleece blanket the whole time.
We went through the world's largest corn maze! Go Blackhawks!

Last week, Nick danced to "Everybody, Backstreet's Back" on Dancing with the Stars! Watch it here. It was great to see him dance to a BSB song and the performance was very energetic and fun being jazz. I liked how the audience was showcased at the beginning of the routine and their outfits looked sexy with black leather. Of course my favorite part was when Nick danced to his "am I sexual?" part. That's the best part of the whole song ;) It was also fun to see Nick's name in big green letters at the end of the dance. Here's to #TeamSharNick!

Nick's New Single and DWTS

How great has Nick and Sharna been on Dancing with the Stars?! Nick has been doing an incredible job and even though it's so endearing that he seems to be nervous, he has nothing to be nervous about! He has his drive and determination, experience, and us as fans to keep him going and give him support.

I enjoyed Nick dancing the jive during week 2, night 1 and it did remind me of the BSB cruise because of their outfits. I'm so disappointed that I won't be going on the cruise this time around that I dreamed I was watching the BSB documentary with a bunch of fans who all said they would be going lol. I think it's because around this time the past two years I would be packing and getting excited for it.

Back to the jive performance, I enjoyed seeing Nick "wake up" in plaid and I didn't even notice he tripped. To me it looked like it was meant to happen. Such a fun performance, but I do seem to like the performances where they use more current music more. In this dance they used the Bugle Boy of Company B song. I noticed they made Nick's pants tight...but I'm not complaining lol.

See! Doesn't this remind you of cruising with BSB?

Wish Nick could dip me lol.

On night two, Nick and Sharna did the foxtrot. This has been my favorite performance so far because it was so beautiful and romantic. I enjoyed seeing Nick's caring side when he was comforting Sharna on her family matters and of dedicating the dance to them. I related to this on a personal level and as silly as it sounds, I wish Nick could have said the same thing to me when I was going through such a similar tough time with my mother's illness and passing.

How pretty! The smoke and wind was adding to the atmosphere.

One of the reasons I adore Nick so much is that he really is a nice, wonderful man. I've met guys who aren't even as talented or good looking as Nick and think they are God's gift to women and treat others beneath them because of their looks and status. And with Nick, he really is a good person. He treats everyone with kindness and doesn't think he is better than anyone else. That is so refreshing and admirable and because of this I think he deserves every great moment that happens to him in his lifetime.

I could gush more about Nick, but I will just say a few more comments on this dance routine. The costumes were very elegant and I swooned when Nick caressed Sharna's face. Their hug at the end was very sweet. You could really tell Nick was giving it all for Sharna and I think that shows his character as a human being. He needs to want to show the same determination for himself and make sure he gives himself his all too. The song choice added to the emotion of it all with "I'm Coming Home" by Skylar Grey.

On Week 3, we seen Nick and Sharna perform the Viennese Waltz with a Downton Abbey theme. I never watched the show, but have heard positive things about it. After I get through Game of Thrones, I'll give this series a try.

Nick doing his Downton Abbey impression.

Screams elegance!

The outfits were once again beautiful, but I did prefer the attire from the foxtrot dance. The entrance of Nick coming down the stairs was nice and the emotion they evoked helped the performance. Nick's bow and kiss on Sharna's hand was an appropriate ending to the dance and made every woman sigh I'm sure...or at least I did lol.

Wishing #TeamSharNick the best and I'm not going to worry until we get down to the wire. They definitely should be in the final two.

Vote! Vote! Vote!

If you aren't getting enough of Nick just by watching Dancing with the Stars, be sure to watch his new music video for "I Will Wait" a few million times. Nick looks sexy and simplistic and the video compliments the message of the song wonderfully. The lyrics are beautiful and the video has a powerful ending.

He makes me smile.

Be sure to buy the single now on Itunes and you need AJ's song too!!!

Nick Does the Cha Cha!

What a great way for Nick to start off on Dancing with the Stars, tying in First Place! I was so excited to hear he’d be on the show because it means I get to see him every week…even if it’s just through TV lol. I do work Monday nights so I have to wait a little longer to see it, but it’s always something fun to look forward too. I plan to blog each week about Nick’s dance performances, starting with this one.

Watch Nick dance here.

Nick’s cha cha was on point! He was looking really suave and in his element. Blue looks good on him and I thought it was funny when he pointed out his button flew off his pants. I didn’t notice that even happened lol. That’s just the kind of thing that happens when you give it your all!

I also thought it was funny that practically every lady has said they had a crush on Nick. The ladies love him, that’s for sure…including me! I also think they paired him up with a great partner and it looks like they have chemistry, which will get them to the end.

Nick looks perfect here...but he always looks great with that positive smile!

This is the look after you nailed a routine!

I'd be sticking my tongue out too if I was next to him lol.

I was also happy with the song choice because I like to see more current music incorporated into the dance routines. It was Flo Rida's "I Don't Like It, I Love It."

The silhouettes were a nice way to start out the routine and I definitely liked the nod of using the “Everybody” dance. The ending was very sexy!

I can pick his silhouette out of a lineup lol.

The judges were really nice, but I didn't agree with Carrie Ann saying he looked nervous at the beginning. I know I don't look that calm and collected when I'm nervous.

Great job, Nick and Sharna! Can't wait to see what you both have in store for us next week! #TeamSharNick
